Time really flies...

...when you have too much going on. Finally settling in after our move. I even have the swifts and yarn winders unpacked. I am close to finishing a shawl that I started years ago...one of the Goddess Knits Mystery Shawls that now has a name - Eala. I was running out of yarn, too. I got a hold of Ruth at PennyRoses Yarn who happened to have extra undyed yarn in Kona light fingering. I was able to obtain this so that I can finish the last "clue". It will look like foam on Carribean waters...I hope. Well, picture will arrive soon. I have to remember where I left the camera this time.

In the meantime, I did start another shawl -- Winter Mystery Shawl 2010 -- by Renee Leverington. This will be my first shawl with beads. The yarn is Spinning Bunny Winter Luxury in Black Spruce. The beads are from JoAnn Fabric, Czech beads in sea green mix. So far, so good. Not so sure about the beads. I may not knit another bead project.

Backtracking a little bit, in Early December my DH had a business meeting back in Portland, Maine and we got to go along. This meant stops at special places -- Thai Dish Restaurant, L.L. Bean, and Purl Diva Yarn Shop. At Purl Diva, we met Gudrun Johnston and purchased her book and also acquired some yarn. Since I didn't have any more room in the luggage, I asked Ellen to ship the items to me and it arrive smelling so nice and fresh. Mmmm, I love yummy smelling yarn. I think I am going to knit the February Lady Sweater, finally! or maybe this or this.
